"I've Lost Myself"
You're a mom, wife, daughter, friend, partner, employee, chef, housekeeper, chauffeur...the list goes on. In the midst of all these roles, you can feel overwhelmed and disoriented like the kid on the merry-go-round. The person you once thought you knew feels distant on the horizon and the ground under your own feet doesn't feel solid. You can feel like you've lost yourself.

"I'm Too Much/Not Enough"
In my work with women, I usually hear two common refrains. The first is that women feel they are too much. They are too...emotional, cold, needy, independent, tearful, bitchy, controlling, soft, nice, bossy, aggressive, meek, thin, fat, busy, lazy...UGH! No wonder so many of us feel overwhelmed! We can't seem to hit the mark and the target seems to continue to move. The second refrain is that women often feel or are told they are not enough. They are not...smart, pretty, strong, talented, aggressive, thin, savvy, calm, experienced, old, young, stable, quiet, loud, or powerful enough. They often feel they are not good enough mothers, daughters, wives, employees, bosses or friends. This leads to emotions of guilt, shame, inadequacy, insecurity and unworthiness.

All of this constant trying to be more in one area and less in another can leave women feeling exhausted, lonely and disconnected from themselves.

The truth is that you aren't lost. The beautiful and authentic real you is deep inside where she has always been. The truth is that you are fricken' Goldilocks! You are Just Right!
